The genesis of WoW emerged from Damaris's personal revelation about who a woman is according to God’s design and her purpose, she is not just a mom, a wife but has a great purpose to fulfill. This understanding transformed her own walk with Christ and ignited a passion to help other women experience the same liberation. What began as small gatherings has expanded into an international ministry touching thousands of lives across the globe. 

ONE Marriage Ministry represents Damaris and her husband Emmanuel Mkubwa shared commitment to rebuilding the foundation of society through strong, Christ-centered marriages. This ministry emerged from their personal journey of discovering God's blueprint for marriage and their recognition of the devastating impact of relationship breakdown in communities worldwide. Rather than merely lamenting cultural decline, they actively created a comprehensive ministry addressing the full spectrum of relationship needs.

Together with her husband, Apostle Mkubwa, planted a multicultural church in Richardson that focuses on restoring families to the Father's love. She also co-founded a marriage ministry with her husband called "ONE" that captures the biblical vision of marital unity expressed in Genesis 2:24 and reaffirmed by Jesus in Matthew 19:5-6. This unity transcends mere emotional or physical connection to create a spiritual oneness that reflects Christ's relationship with His church. Through this ministry, the Mkubwas help couples discover and embody this profound mystery of godly marriage. They offer marriage counseling/ premarital counseling and officiating weddings .

Beyond her public roles as entrepreneur, prophet, pastor, and ministry founder, Damaris Mkubwa finds her deepest fulfillment in her identity as wife and mother. Her family relationships are not secondary to her ministry and business endeavors but form the foundation from which all other aspects of her calling flow.
